Cheetah’s, palm trees and gold trim—oh my! This stunning dinner service for twelve harkens exotic locales and makes for a smashingly chic tablescape. And did I mention it’s TWELVE, five-piece place settings? If you’re like us, you make it a rule to not entertain more than eight people for dinner. You have four place settings to spare which you may keep to cover breakage for that friend that has too much wine at dinner and insists on helping wash the dishes; or, you may sell the balance on eBay. And a quick eBay search shows that the dinner plates are selling for around $140/each while the salad plates are commanding $70/each. You do the math. With an auction estimate of only $300-$500 for 12 place settings, this china may very well pay for itself!
PS: We’re very adept at justifying almost ANY purchase of gorgeous things….
